Esspresso is a daily word-building puzzle with seven letters and one essential rule: every word must include S. Play free in your browser, with nothing to install.

- Words must be 4 letters or longer, and every word uses the center letter, which is always S.
- Letters can be used more than once. 4‑letter words are worth 1 point; longer words earn 1 point per letter.
- Each puzzle has at least one pangram, a word that uses all 7 letters, worth 7 bonus points.
- Climb the ranks to Superstar, and find every word for Savant. Clues help without giving any word away.
- Every day has its own puzzle, and the Archive keeps the earlier ones.
Your progress and accounts
Your progress is saved in your browser as you play. An account is optional: sign in with Google, or with an email address and password, to keep your progress on all your devices.
If you sign in with Google, Esspresso uses only your email address, to identify your account. It doesn’t read or post anything in your Google account. The privacy policy explains what Esspresso collects and why.
